Cecilia is 49 years old. She is a widow and mother with four children who are currently in school. She trades in cereals like maize and beans in the local market of Kasoa, a town in the Central region of Ghana.
Life has become a bit of a challenge to her and it has become very difficult for her to cater to her children especially with their education and their basic needs.
She requests the loan to enable her buy an increased stock of maize to grow her business and scale up sales. She hopes to increase her savings to support the children’s education so as to give them a better future and career opportunities.
She belongs to the community group called Sure Trust Group. In this group, members guarantee for one another as social collateral and assist one another to repay the loan.
