A loan of $225 helped to buy seeds (vegetables, lettuces, potatoes) and fertilizer.

Beby's story

Aged 64, Beby is married. Her husband, who supports her in her activity, also has a retirement pension. They have seven children who are all already independent. As other sources of income, they tend two milk cows and poultry.

Beby has been growing vegetables since 1990. Developing market gardening takes fertilizer, insecticides, and improved seeds. Those are the object of her fourth loan. Her goal is to extend the activity so that she can supply the markets surrounding the capital.
