Mrs. Hon H. was born in 1958 and has been living for years with other family members in Battambang Province. Mrs. H. and her husband own a plantation that was inherited from their grandparents, on which they cultivate all kinds of crops. The couple has four children: one is married and lives separately and the other three are students, and they also help their parents' business when they are not attending school.

The family is lacking capital in order to support their business actions. Therefore, H. humbly requests a loan of $ 800 from Kiva's partner HKL to be used to buy fertilizers and seeds to grow.
