Dorcas C. is married with 7 dependents and received an education through Junior High School. Since 1980, Dorcas has worked as a trader selling cooked rice at Kissi in Elmina. While Dorcas works as a trader, her husband is employed as a businessman. She uses her income to pay for her family’s school fees and bills. Dorcas will use the loan to purchase more rice in bags, which she will then cook and sell. With the new profits from her expanded business, Dorcas plans to continue working on the house that she has started building.
