Dilorom
R. Dilorom lives in Isfara, a town of the Sugd region. She is a widow and has four chidlren. When her husband passed away, she was left without a steady income. Supporting this large family on her own is very difficult. Dilorom has to spend a lot of money on their education, clothing, food, etc. The love to her children allowed her to stand up against all the difficulties in her life.


Dilorom has two cows and four sheep. Now she wants to borrow money to buy more calves. She hopes in that way to earn more and to be able to continue providing her children with education.

While the people of Tajikistan are working to improve its agricultural production and manufacturing sector, nearly two-thirds of the population still live in abject poverty.
