Paglaum MPC was created to run programs and offer services to those who need financial assistance and to provide business training. Jovita B. became a member of Paglaum on April 2008.

Jovita lacks financial capital for her sari-sari store. (The word sari-sari is Tagalog for "various kinds"). Jovita only had enough money to build the sari-sari. She is requesting PHP 14,900 to buy additional goods for sale. She is thankful that she can earn additional income for her family aside from her husband.

Jovita hopes to expand her sari-sari to a mini grocery store and to have a house of their own for the family.
