The members of the Qantu Wayta community bank are from the Vischonogo community in the Province of Vilcashuaman. This community is located 3 hours from the Ayacucho city, and is at an altitude of 2,900 feet above sea level. It is a tourist zone because of the ruins of the Intihuatana and the Intihuatana Lake. Agriculture is the primary activity. This includes growing potatoes, corn, and barley; and raising cattle.

Gardenia is a single mother with a 7 year old son. Gardenia has a grocery store in her house. Her loan will be used to buy groceries to better stock her business. Gardenia dreams of saving to get ahead, improving her business, and her son completing his studies.

Isabel is a single mother with 2 children, 8 and 10. Isabel sells grains that she buys in the community. When she was little she learned this activity from her mother. Her loan will be used to buy grains. Isabel’s dream is to educate her children and to buy a grain mill.

Saturnina is married, and her children are grown. Saturnina and her husband buy animals in different communities. Later, they benefit by selling the meat in their community. They have plans to buy more animals with the loan. Saturnina’s dreams are to continue seeing to the well being of her children and to save for old age.

Las socias del Banco Comunal Qantu Wayta son de la comunidad de Vischongo, Provincia de Vilcashuaman, esta ubicado a 3 horas de la ciudad de Ayacucho, a una altitud de 2900 m.s.n.m., esta comunidad es zona turística por las ruinas del Intihuatana y la laguna de Intihuatana. La actividad primordial es la agricultura de papa, maíz, cebada y también a la ganadería.
Gardenia es madre soltera, tiene 1 hijo de 7 años, Gardenia tiene una tienda en su casa en donde vende abarrotes, su préstamo será invertido en la compra de abarrotes y así surtir mas su negocio, Gardenia sueña con ahorrar para salir adelante, mejorar su negocio y que su hijo culmine sus estudios.
Isabel es madre soltera, tiene 02 hijos de 8, 10 años, Isabel se dedica a la venta de cereales que compra en su comunidad actividad que aprendió de pequeña con su mama, su préstamo será invertido en la compra de cereales, los sueño de Isabel son educar a sus hijos y comprar un molino de granos.
Saturnina es casada, sus hijos ya son mayores de edad, Saturnina junto a su esposo compran animales en las diferentes comunidades, luego los benefician, la carne lo comercializa en su comunidad. Con el préstamo que obtendrá tiene proyectado comprar mas animales, los sueños de Saturnina son seguir velando por el bienestar de sus hijos y ahorrar para la vejez.
