As you know, your generosity helped Zainabu obtain a loan of $400 in April 2009. She is running a beauty salon business and used the loan to purchase dryers and to renovate her building. She works hard at her business. Since she took out the loan, her business has been doing well and Zainabu was able to buy food for her family and to pay other expenses. In the future, she is planning to request another loan from SELFINA with which she planned to improve her business. On the personal front, her family is doing well. As you may remember, she is married and has one child. SELFINA aims to continue to assist Zainabu and other women like her, and empower them towards financial security and increased confidence through micro loans.
