Hadija lives in the Buza area, on the outskirts of Dar es Salaam. She is married with four children and she sells maize flour to shops and food vendors. She prepares the flour by herself. She buys the maize in retail, sends it to the milling machine and packs the product in packets of 5-10 kilograms. She also sells bi-product as animal feed. She is planning to increase her stocks of maize as she is usually faced with being out-of-stock. To meet her planning target she is need of $1000.
