Ly V. was born in 1967 and is a resident of the Banteay Meachey Province in Cambodia. She is a good homemaker who cooks delicious meals and cares for her three children, all of whom are single and still live in the family home. Besides her housework, she also plants vegetables on her one hectare of farmland located in the village. Her husband works with her in planting them. Since the vegetable growing is the family's main source of income and they would like to expand their business, Ly V. has requested a loan to buy a plot of land for growing crops and to buy more fertilizers. The loan will help the family attain a better standard of living.
