The Team
Kiva Engineering is a rapidly growing team of 20+ motivated engineers. We operate as a "start-up" in that everybody counts, and your contribution has the potential to make a big impact: on Kiva, and on the world at large. We follow a Scrum development process, with 20% of time allocated for engineering innovation.

The Team

The Job
- Build new functionality for the web application used by Kiva's Field Partners around the world.
- Use the entire LAMP stack, from the front-end to the database.
- Participate in the design & prototyping of new features
- Love building applications for the web (with clean code)
- Embrace test driven development (TDD)
- Passionate about Kiva's mission
- Value collaboration with your teammates; you share what you know with them, and appreciate that their feedback makes your code better too
- 4+ years of experience developing consumer-facing web apps, preferably e-commerce applications
- Expertise in both frontend (e.g., CSS, HTML, Javascript, Ajax) and backend (e.g., PHP, Java, C++, databases)
- Education – BSCS/BSEE preferred
- Experience with an Agile software development process - preferably Scrum
- Base salary with bonus potential for 2012
