Neichong is pictured with her hand raised and she is the featured profile member of Dorcas group. She lives with her husband and seven children in a village. In 2011, she availed a loan from WSDS to start her weaving activities. She weaved traditional shawls and wrap-around skirts for women. In order to supplement the family income she ventured into this activity, which is something she is good at. Now she needs a loan to do better with her weaving activities. She means to buy yarn for weaving and repair her worn-out handloom to weave. She believes that she can produce more and work faster once her loom is repaired. She can produce at least 15 shawls in a month. In the future, she plans to establish a small handloom business through purchasing more handlooms and hiring more people to weave. She also hopes to own a cattle farm down the road. Getting motivated by her, the rest of the group members also need loans to improve upon their activities like poultry, weaving, and vegetable vending.
