Judhistira is a 43-year-old physically challenged person living with his wife and three children in a village of Odisha. He has a vegetable shop in his village where he sells parwal, brinjal (egg plant), cabbage, cauliflower, lady finger [okra], cucumber, tomato, bitter gourd, etc. He has been involved in this business since 2003. He purchases the vegetables twice a week from the local market, which is nine kilometres from his village. In this way, he earns 5,000 Indian rupees (INR) per month from his business. The village people are benefited by purchasing vegetables from his shop, as there is no other vegetable shop in the village. He wants to expand his business by renovating his shop and adding a larger quantity of seasonal vegetables and, along with it, he also wants to add fruits as well. Judhistira has requested a loan of 25,000 INR to purchase these products and renovate his shop so that he can meet the customers' demand. He will be able to earn 7,000 to 8,000 INR a month from this business. He has a dream to make a house for his family and give his children the best education.
