Soledad is married and has four children, three of whom are in school. She owns a small retail store where she sells such personal products as dresses, cosmetics and shoes. She is also into direct sales for Natasha, Avon, and Barley. She and her husband work hard to provide for their family’s everyday expenses.
Soledad previously took out and repaid a 50,000 PHP loan from CCT, which she used to buy merchandise for her business. She is applying for another 50,000 PHP loan to increase her product inventory. She knows that the more she has on display and available, the better, and the greater will be her profits.
Soledad’s ambition is to grow her business and help her children finish their studies. She looks forward to this loan with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.
All CCT community clients, of which Soledad is one, are organized into fellowship groups of fifteen to thirty members who meet on a weekly basis. There they share stories of their work, repay microfinance loans and draw strength and inspiration from their study of the Word of God.
