| We loan because: | These loans will not only help the individual, and their immediate family - but because s/he is helping others to grow their businesses, it will also help the larger community live long and prosper as well. |
| About us: | The Enterprising Entrepreneur recognizes there is a clear need in the local community and then steps up to fill it. The best way to describe is by example -
I MADE WENTEN a farmer, who figures out that fertilizer helps his farm be more productive - so he not only gets fertilizer for his farm, he starts selling it to his neighbors and teaching them how it can improve production. Note: This is the loan that inspired the creation of this team, and it is his picture you see above. MARIA JOSEFA GOMEZ PEREZ a needlework craftsperson, decides that supplies are too expensive and hard to get what she wanted - so she changes and buys a van to make a mobile store to take the raw materials out in the country. Check out her Journal entry. Haoua Dembele a fabric dyer, gets tired of paying high prices for fabric, so saves up and makes a buying trip herself. Now she is purchasing large quantities of raw fabric for a discount then selling to her neighbors....better quality and cheaper as well. |
