Kiva Lender: Keller Middle School

Location: Keller, TX United States
Occupation: Teacher/Students
I loan because: We are 8th graders from Keller Middle School that want to help people build stronger economies around the world. The graduating class of 2011 loaned money two years ago to Doris Mensah. Upon her repayment, we chose Ms. Abejide and Ms. Cana's group to "reloan" the money to. The graduating class of 2012 loaned $450 to 5 different people last spring. The graduating class of 2013 have raised $50 and selected Mr. Traore and Mrs. Aguilar to receive their loan, and with the credit from last year's loans, we were able to select Mrs. Bondzie and Mrs. Srey. We are excited to watch these businesses grow.
About me: Teacher: I teach US History and World Mythology to 14 year olds. I work with a great group of kids that are interested in their global economy.
