  1. I live in the U.S. Can I apply for a loan?:

    Kiva does not process loan requests. If you’re an entrepreneur in the United States who is interested in applying for a microloan, please contact our United States Field Partners, Opportunity Fund and ACCION USA.

    Please note that Kiva is unable to assist with or provide feedback on any loan application, as our Field Partners are solely responsible for evaluating loan candidates.

    Kiva is a global organization and seeks to provide working capital to entrepreneurs all over the world. Poverty exists in every country, including the United States, and Kiva hopes to address poverty wherever it exists.

    Kiva works hard to consistently find new Field Partners working in every corner of the globe. We hope to expand our presence all over the world at a pace that is healthy for the organization.

    Kiva is excited to begin offering loans to entrepreneurs in the United States. We will continue to work with our Field Partners to add more borrowers from all over the country.
