Elia

Elia is 29 years old and lives in a rented house with her husband and her 7 year-old son. She sells garments wholesale
and distributes them to different areas of the town and sometimes to other towns. Her workday consists of selling clothes in the morning and recovering outstanding payments. To supply her stock, she travels every 15 days to Lima to buy products wholesale. Her earnings, which she gets every week, depend on this.

Elia recognies that traveling and walking constantly is very tiring, but it has its rewards. In the future she wants to set up in a stall.

This is her second time borrowing with MFP. She wants to continue actively participating in her communal bank because she enjoys interacting with the other members of her group. She will invest the loan in buying more stock.

Elia tiene 29 años, vive en una casa arrendada con su esposa y su hijo de 7 años. Se dedica a la venta de prendas de vestir al por menor, repartiendo a distintos lugares de su localidad y en ocasiones viaja a otras ciudades aledañas. Su jornada de trabajo consiste en ofrecer la ropa por las mañanas y cobrar sus cuentas pendientes. Para abastecerse de mercadería viaja cada 15 días a la ciudad de Lima para comprar al por mayor, de esto depende sus ganancias, las cuales obtiene semanalmente. Elia reconoce que estar viajando y caminando constantemente es muy cansado, pero tiene sus recompensas. Para el futuro quiere establecerse en un puesto de ventas. Es la segunda vez que tiene un préstamo con MFP, desea seguir participando activamente en su banco comunal porque disfruta de relacionarse con cada integrante de su grupo. La cantidad que está solicitando la invertirá en la compra de más mercadería.
