Rokia Keita

Mrs. Rokia Keita is 29 years old and lives with her husband and 3 children in the Médine area of Ségou (fourth administrative region of the Republic of Mali).
Holder of an official certification in accounting, she was initiated into the business world through her mother, who was formerly a shopkeeper and significant caterer in Ségou. Since her student days, she helped her mother manage her accounts and distribute her goods. Enriched by this experience, she decided nine years ago to develop her own business buying and selling clothing and shoes. She enjoys an excellent reputation and fame in Ségou.
To increase her working capital in order to meet the demands of her clientele, she turned to the microfinance institution Soro Yiriwaso, with whom she has been working for 36 months. After 4 solidarity (group) loans and 1 individual loan, all repaid properly, she is seeking her second individual loan, which will be used to buy 30 outfits of medium-quality damask and 5 outfits of rich damask. She gets her raw materials in Bamako (the capital of Mali). Mrs. Rokia Keita sells her goods in cash and on credit to a clientele composed of men and women.
With this loan, she intends to realize a monthly profit of 30,000 FCFA, which will allow her to provide for various traditional social events. Her ambition is to open a boutique selling clothes.

Madame Rokia Keita est âgée de 29 ans et vit avec son époux et ses 3 enfants dans le quartier Médine de Ségou (quatrième région administrative de la république du Mali).
Titulaire d’un certificat d’aptitude professionnelle en comptabilité, elle s’est initiée au commerce auprès à sa mère qui fut jadis une commerçante et une grande restauratrice à Ségou. Depuis élève elle aidait cette dernière tenir sa comptabilité et distribuer ses articles. Riche de cette expérience, elle décida d’évoluer en solo pour exercer les activités d’achat et de vente d’habits et de chaussures depuis 9 ans .Elle jouit d’une grande réputation et notoriété à Ségou.
Pour augmenter son fonds de commerce afin de faire face à la demande de sa clientèle, elle fait recours à l’institution de microfinance Soro Yiriwaso avec laquelle elle est en relation depuis 36 mois. Après 4 prêts solidaires et 1 prêt individuel tous correctement bien remboursés, elle est à son 2ème prêt individuel qui sera utilisé pour acheter 30 complets de bazins moins riches et 5 complets de bazins riches. Elle s’approvisionne en matières premières à Bamako (capitale du Mali). Madame Rokia Keita vend au comptant et à crédit à une clientèle composée d’hommes et de femmes.
Avec ce prêt elle compte réaliser un bénéfice mensuel de 30 000 FCFA qui lui permettra de faire face à certains événements sociaux. son ambition est d’ouvrir une boutique de vente d’habits.
