Cecilia is very industrious, and has always been looking out for an opportunity to make money and help her children have a better life than she had. Cecilia runs a grocery store and is doing very well. She purchased fresh stock of groceries such as tin foods, toiletries, assorted biscuits, candies etc. with her latest loan from Kiva lenders.

According to Cecilia, she has now doubled her profits, giving her more flexibility in managing business expenditure and her family situations. She used part of the profits to pay for school fees and books for her two kids at school, a better diet for her family, household bills and other household expenses. She also said her family’s standard of living has also improved.
