Punku - Paxi Group

Punku paxi means The Moon's Door in the Aymará language and is the name that this association, that has worked with the Pro-Mujer family for 9 years, has adopted. Others sell baby clothing and other consumer items, but the majority are craftspeople; they make blankets with beautiful traditional designs woven in looms that are sold in souvenir shops as well as by request.

Punku paxi, significa Puerta de la luna en lengua aymará, esta es la denominación que adopta una asociación, que trabajan con la familia de Pro-Mujer hace mas de nueve años . Varios son los negocios de esta asociación, Abraham por ejemplo es chapista de autos, otras venden ropa para bebes, también tienen tiendas de consumo pero la mayoría son artesanas, realizan mantas con hermosos diseños tradicionales tejidos en telar, luego los venden a tiendas turisticas y tambien a pedido.
Necesitan mayores créditos para comprar materia prima. Generando mayores ingresos conseguirán mejorar su calidad de vida junto a la de sus hijos.
