Please note that Kiva considers loans to this Field Partner, CRAN, to be particularly HIGH RISK. This organization has had very serious delinquency problems brought about by problems with its credit methodology, local environmental shocks including a depletion of local fisheries in its core area of operation (Cape Coast and the Central Province), and insufficient follow up with late clients. Lenders to this business should be aware that there is an increased risk of not getting repaid on this loan due to the challenges facing the Field Partner.

Updates For Adam Sulekassim

Entrepreneur: Adams Sulekassim
Location: Cape Coast, Ghana

Adam had a kiva loan a few months ago which has really transformed his business of selling music and Movie CD’s and DVD's and tapes. With the loan, Adam bought more and varieties of music and Movie CD’s and DVD's and tapes which he sold for more profit. He reinvested the increased profit into his business and bought more music and Movie CD’s and DVD's and tapes for sale. With the profit he has been able to pay all his bills and rents. He says market is down now but he hopes for the better since they are approaching the Festive seasons where there will be more buying and selling.

He has purchased a piece of land where he wants to build a store. He hopes to make some more profit to help him complete the store before the coming year. Many thanks from Adam to you for lending to his business.
