Flor

Flor is 42 years of age, and for the last 26 years has lived with the father of their 6 children, 3 of whom still live at home. She works farming potatoes and peas. At the beginning she was not accustomed to the work, but as the years go by she has come to love her job. Now she is very devoted to her crops, to the size and quality, as these things are important to get a good price at the market. For her next crops she will change to seeds of better quality. Flor is a very shy group member, but she is the first to attend every one of the meetings. This is her eighth loan with MFP and in all this time she has never defaulted. The money she requests will be used to buy chemical fertilizers and bags of seeds of a different quality.

Flor tiene 42 años de edad, hace 26 años vive con el padre de sus 6 hijos, de los cuales, 3 de ellos aun viven en su casa. Se dedica a la siembra de papa y alverjas, al inicio no se acostumbraba al trabajo, pero el paso de los años han logrado que ame su trabajo. Ahora está muy pendiente de sus cultivos, del tamaño y la calidad, ya que de eso depende el conseguir buenos precios en el mercado. Para sus próximas siembras cambiará de semillas, por unas de mejor calidad. Flor es una socia muy tímida, pero es la primera en asistir a cada una de sus reuniones; este es su 8vo préstamo con MFP y en todo este tiempo no ha caído en morosidad. El dinero que solicita lo usará en la compra de fertilizantes químicos y sacos de semilla de otra calidad.
