Kishwar sultana baji is a 36 year old married lady and a citizen of Arifwala, Pakistan for the last 5 years. Kishwar baji completed her education up to the 8th standard and left her education because, due to her mother’s illness, her presence became essential at home. Kishwar baji was married at the age of 18. Her husband’s name is Javed iqbal and he runs a movie-making business. He has been in this profession for the last 6 years. Kishwar baji is the mother of four children: one son and three daughters. All of her children are getting an education from a school located near the house.

Kishwar baji operates a clothes sewing business. She takes orders from her neighbors and relatives. With the income she pays off the school fees of her children. Her husband bears the household expenses. Kishwar baji’s brother-in-law also lives with her family. He drives a rented auto-rickshaw. Kishwar baji is applying for a loan to buy an auto-rickshaw (a local three-wheeled motor vehicle) for her brother-in-law, so that he earns the whole amount of his fares.

She is the group leader of four other women from her locality. Umm-e-Kalsoom baji and Farida baji each want a loan to buy groceries for their grocery shops. Farzana baji wants a loan to buy a donkey cart for loading. Shazia parveen baji wants a loan to buy wood to sell.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
