Paulina

Paulina is 46 years old and has five children, two of whom no longer live at home. In her youth, her parents planted many hectares of citrus fruits and plantains, and Paulina got up at 4:00am every morning to prepare breakfast, because at 7:00am they were already working in the fields. Afterwards, she stayed in the house to cook, to later bring lunch to the fields, then staying to help with the farmwork.

These days, this particular arrangement only takes place in the harvest season, and the rest of her time she spends knitting in her house. With each of her creations she employs all her ingenuity and creativity, producing to the exact specifications of her customers. Paulina really likes to knit, and it's very profitable for her. With her business, she invests money in materials like spools of yarn of different colors, adornments, knitting templates, etc. For each garment, she earns between 5 and 8 soles, and this income allows her to take care of her basic necessities and household needs.

Paulina is a very happy client who is charge of getting smiles out of the rest of the members of her communal bank. This is her first loan with MFP, and she promises to make all her payments. The money she is asking for will be used to buy diverse materials for her work, and in this way she'll be able to knit more garments, and in many colors and models.

Paulina tiene 46 años, tiene cinco hijos, de los cuales dos de ellos viven fuera. En su juventud, sus padres sembraban numerosas hectáreas de cítricos y plátanos, ella se levantaba a las 4.00am para preparar el desayuno, porque a las 7.00am ya estaban cultivando sus chacras, entonces se quedaba para cocinar y luego llevar los almuerzos a la chacra, quedándose a apoyar en los cultivos. Actualmente, esta dinámica de trabajo la realiza solo en épocas de cosecha, el resto de su tiempo lo ocupa realizando manualidades en su casa, para cada uno de sus tejidos emplea todo su ingenio y creatividad, produciendo de acuerdo a los pedidos de sus clientes. A Paulina le agrada mucho tejer, y le resulta más rentable; en este negocio invierte para la compra de los materiales como; conos de hilos de diversos colores, adornos, plantillas, etc., y por cada prenda gana entre 5 y 8 soles, estos ingresos le permiten aliviar sus necesidades básicas y urgentes de su casa. Paulina es una cliente muy alegre, es la encargada de arrancar las sonrisa de los demás integrantes de su banco comunal; este es su 1er préstamo con MFP, comprometiéndose a pagar todas las cuotas fijadas. El dinero solicitado lo empleará en la compra de materiales diversos para sus trabajos de manualidades, así podrá tejer más y con diversos colores y modelos.
