Mwatanu Gwiliye

Mambo from Tanzania! This is 33-year-old Mwatanu Gwiliye from Mwanza. She is married with five children between the ages of six and fourteen years old. Mwatanu has been running a beauty salon since 2008. At her shop you can buy long hair, short hair, curly hair, straight hair, red hair, or blue hair, and then have it attached to your head, woven, cut or braided, and made to look like your own. She works at her business for twelve hours a day, seven days a week and is assisted by two employees. Mwatanu currently earns about $300 a month from her business.
