Nelly

Nelly is 37 years old and lives with her husband and two children. The house where she lives belongs to her husband's parents, who currently live elsewhere. She and her husband make and sell carpentry items, such as "cancamos", which are iron fastenings that are used to join pieces of wood, and they also make cables, ropes, and other such items. They have been doing this for 25 years, and her husband is her business partner because he makes these things, which she then sells. In the future they would like to rent a stall in the market where they can distribute these materials and finished products successfully.

This is her 8th loan with MFP, and she likes to work with her communal bank because all the members are women and they are responsible and united.
