Copacabana Group

This group is called "Copacabana” and is represented by Graciela. Two of the group's members are related: Cristina and José Miguel are cousins, but their incomes are independent of one another. The members of the community bank have a variety of businesses such as selling fruit, selling groceries, promoting different brands of cosmetics and selling clothing as street vendors. As with all business, there is competition in the market but the members' experience allows them to continue making a daily income to sustain their families. This loan will be used to increase the stock of goods for their businesses and to buy materials and ingredients to improve their revenue and give their families a better quality of life. Most of the members have previously worked with foundations or other financial institutions like Fundación Agrocapital and so they are familiar with group loans.

El grupo "Copacabana” esta representado por la señora Graciela y se encuentra un parentesco familiar entre las señoras, cristina y el señor José Miguel que son primos pero con ingresos independientes cada uno. Las socias del banco comunal se dedican a diferentes actividades económicas como, venta de frutas, venta de abarrotes, promotoras de diferentes marcas de cosméticos y ala venta ambulante de ropa. Como en todo rubro comercial siempre existe la competencia de la oferta y la demanda pero la experiencia de las socias les permite salir adelante para llevar el ingreso diario para el sustento de su familia. El crédito otorgado es para ampliar el stock de productos para sus negocios y a la compra de materiales e insumos para mejorar sus ingresos y brindar a sus familias una mejor calidad de vida. La mayoría de las socias han trabajado con fundaciones o organizaciones financieras similares a la fundación agrocapital por lo que tienen experiencia en grupo solidarios.



About Group Loans
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a group of individuals bound by a group guarantee.
