Benadetha Nyamoga

Mambo ("Greetings") from Tanzania! This is 35-year-old Benadetha Nyamonga from Dar es Salaam She is married and has two children aged 3 and 6. She is also responsible for supporting two dependants because their parents cannot take care of them.

Benadetha has been selling soft drinks since 2004. She makes and sell juices, and sells soda, drinking water and other soft drinks. It is a good business to have in Dar es Salaam because the place is hot and people drink cold drinks frequently to cool their bodies. She works at her business for 9-12 hours per day, seven days per week and is assisted by two employees.

Benadetha currently earns about $200 USD from her business. She is requesting a loan to purchase fruit for making juices and for buying stocks of soda and drinking water. In the future, she plans to open another business. Benadetha thanks you for her support!

SELFINA has taken a lead role as a pioneer of micro-credit in Tanzania through Micro-Leasing.
