Tsermaa Minjuur is 44 and married with two children in elementary school. She and her family moved from the countryside to Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia, 15 years ago. They sold all of their livestock when they moved, and opened a small butcher business in the city. Tsermaa purchases wholesale meat from the countryside and resells it in her stall in the local market. She is requesting this loan to buy more mutton to resell. One day she hopes to be able to supply meat to her clients on a larger scale. She would like to be able to invest in her children's higher education and purchase an apartment with running hot water in the future.
