Rani Nazir Hussain Group

Rani baji is a 39-year-old lady and a citizen of Lahore, Pakistan for the last 22 years. Rani baji’s husband is Nazir hussain. He manufactures car seats and sells them in the market to earn a profit. Rani baji is the mother of one son whose name is Waqas. He is involved in his father’s business. Rani baji operates a business selling bed sheets. She has been selling bed sheets for the last five years. Rani baji is applying for a loan to buy leather for her husband’s car-seat-making business.

Rani baji is the group leader for another six women from her locality. Shahida baji wants a loan to buy seasonal fruits for her fruit-selling business. Misbah baji wants a loan to buy a lathe machine. Bushra baji and Rehana baji each want a loan to buy leather for their shoe-making business. Safia baji wants a loan to buy thread to sell. Razia baji wants a loan to buy vehicle spare parts to sell.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a group of individuals bound by a group guarantee.
