Nantaba Aisha Group

Nantaba Aisha is forty-three years old. She is married with six children between the ages of twenty-three and five. She lives with her family in a two room house. She does not have access to piped water so she either buys water from others with piped water or she fetches from the stream. She has one meal a day and her greatest expenses are paying rent and feeding her family.

She sells Irish potatoes in the market where she rents a stall to display her potatoes. She works seven days a week.
She has run this business for over twenty years, receiving about twenty customers in a day. Her main challenge is that there are many others selling potatoes like her, so they have to share the customers.

Nantaba Aisha has worked with MCDT for twelve years now and she has received twenty-three loans from MCDT. She
chose to work with MCDT because their services were available nearby. She will use this loan to increase her supply of potatoes. She wants to be able to pay fees for her children until they complete school.
