Ahmadiyya Primary School,magburaka Group

Ahmadiyya Primary School makes good grades every academic year at the National Primary School Examination (BECE). The school has been able to send many pupils to secondary schools every year.

Since teachers usually receive very meager salaries, many teachers find alternative means of making a living. Some engage in businesses or agriculture, and others organize extra classes for the pupils (though that is a practice the government is trying to abolish). Teachers therefore seek a loan in order to embark on meaningful projects and then out of their salaries, they gradually repay the loan.

Abdul K. Kanu (middle – first row) is the Head Teacher of this school. He was born in Magburaka and is married with four children. Abdul will invest this loan in business.
