Conscience Group

The women of the group Conscience average 23 years of age and 3 children each. They live in traditional extended families in the village of Koumantou, in Bougouni prefecture (third region of Mali). These women essentially do commerce in condiments, jewelry, and cloth.

The group members have been partners with Soro Yiriwaso for three years and are on their fifth solidarity loan. All the preceding loans have been correctly repaid. The current loan will serve to buy: 100 kg of fresh onions, 800 kg of okra, 60 kg of pasta, some jewelry (bracelets and necklaces), and some cloth. Supplies of condiments are gotten from merchants from Sikasso. The jewelry and cloth are gotten from merchants at the grand marketplace of Bamako (capital of Mali).

The women each envision realizing 40,000 francs CFA on average per month that will serve to repay the loan and to meet family expenses (education, food, clothing, health...etc.)

Les femmes du groupe Conscience, avec en moyenne 23 ans et 3 enfants, vivent dans des familles traditionnelles élargies dans le village de Koumantou préfecture de Bougouni (troisième région du Mali)
Ces femmes exercent essentiellement le commerce de condiments, de bijoux et de tissus.
Ce groupe est partenaire de Soro Yiriwaso depuis 3 ans. Il est à son cinquième prêt solidaire et tous les prêts précédents ont été correctement remboursés.
Le présent prêt va servir à acheter, 100 kg d’oignons frais, 800 kg de gombo, 60 kg de pâte alimentaire, des bijoux (colliers pour le poignet et le cou) et des tissus. Elles s’approvisionnent en condiments avec les commerçantes venant de Sikasso, en bijoux et tissus auprès des commerçants au grand marché de Bamako (capitale du Mali).
Elles envisagent réaliser chacune en moyenne 40.000 FCFA par mois qui servira à rembourser l’échéance du prêt et satisfaire des dépenses de la famille (éducation, nourriture, habillement, santé…etc.)
