Ibrahim Moro

Ibrahim Moro is 48 years old. He is married with three children. He lives at Bekwai, together with his family. Currently all his children are in school. He is a chemical seller and sells various kinds of drugs like blood tonics, pain killers, malaria drugs etc. in his neighborhod. Many local people use his drugs as first aid and cure when they are sick. He has been in business for twelve years now and he is only person who supplies pharmaceutical products in the community. His chemist's shop is registered to operate by Ghana pharmaceutical council.

Ibrahim wants to use the loan to buy increased supplies of drugs, to include others that are frequently requested by his customers. He hopes to raise good income to take care of his family. He hopes to receive GHS 900 to make business progress by restocking his inventory. This would enable him to save more to support his children in school. Ibrahim belongs to a village bank called ‘Ayi Adakyew’ which means ‘Do what you are doing now well because of tomorrow’.
