Asia baji is a 49-year-old married lady and a citizen of a city named Vehari, Pakistan, for the past 20 years. Her husband's name is Shahsawar, and he runs a grocery shop in the community. He has been in this business for the past four years. Asia baji is the mother of seven children: four sons and three daughters. All of her kids are getting an education from a school which is located near the house. Asia baji is involved in a business sewing clothes. She sews clothes by taking orders from her relatives and neighbors. She sews clothes to pay off the school fees of her kids and to share the financial burden of her husband. Asia baji is applying for a loan to buy groceries for her husband’s grocery shop.

She is the group leader of some more women in her area. Kaniz baji wants a loan to buy groceries for her grocery shop. Shamim Akhtar baji wants a loan to buy scrap for her scrap business. Shazia baji wants a loan to buy dried fruits (peanuts and almonds) to sell. Azra baji wants a loan to buy tools for repairing vehicles for her motor-works shop.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
