An update from Marco Entrepreneur: Marco Antonio Morales Ochoa Location: La Paz, Bolivia Marco’s computer gaming business is going well. Thanks to the new video cards he brought for his 12 computers with the loan from Kiva, his computer games now run much faster than those of any of the competing internet cafes in the neighbourhood. Because of this, kids from the four local schools come to him to play games after school. He also thinks he has an advantage because he plays the games himself and therefore understands his customers’ needs well. To develop his business further, he will probably take out another loan to buy new computers, and new chairs (most of his current ones are broken) in the post-Christmas sales.
