Hurmat Solieva

Hurmat Solieva is a hardworking and responsible widowed woman with two adult children. To support herself and her children, Hurmat has worked selling Tajik national dresses for women in a roving market. From that job, she makes money for her home. These activities have also permitted her to make time available to be with her children. Life hasn't been easy for Hurmat, as she now carries the responsibility for her family alone, but her love for her children motivated her to get ahead. To increase her sales, Hurmat requests a loan of $ 800 USD, which she will use to buy merchandise that is on sale and which she will use to sell at a special price to her customers. Tajikistan is perhaps best known for its rich history, which includes a key post along the Silk Road and the end of Alexander the Great's rule.
