Gloria Abbido has a small store in their village. She maintains her business to support her family's basic needs. The store is their sole source of family income, since her husband is only a part-time construction worker. Gloria is rigorously looking for other business opportunities aside from her store, to earn more money and uplift her family's life. Apart from her business, she also hopes to continue to send her children to school to finish their studies for a better future. Thus, Gloria wanted to borrow the amount of PHP8,000 to further develop her community store.
“It feels good when someone appreciates your deeds,” said Gloria, and she promises herself that she will continuously work harder while still strong to support her family. She is 40 years old with three children, namely: Denmark - 20 years old, fourth year college; Cherry Mae - 14 years old, third year high school; and John – 6 years old, kindergarten. Her husband, Nelson, also tries his best to earn a living for their family.
