Rubelyn Manuel

Rubelyn Manuel is a single parent who sells vegetables and cooked snacks in their village at San Lorenzo Ilagan, Isabela. Her child, Christian, serves as her inspiration in life. Her son is four years old and will go to a Day Care Center this next school year, thus, Rubelyn strives to earn money for her child. They are currently living with her parents in the village since her husband left her when she was barely four months pregnant with Christian.

Rubelyn is working for a better life because she wants to provide the best for her child. She maintains her business to provide a daily income and be able to save a little for the education of her child. However, due to lack of capital she was not able to generate higher sales. Because of this, Rubelyn decided to look for a lending program to assist her in the business for her to improve and increase her daily income. She wants to borrow PHP4,000 to fulfill her plans. She is working hard to attain her dream of having a successful business and she believes that through her faith with God, her dream will somehow become a reality because with God, “nothing is impossible.”
