Mrs. Lydia Antigua, 50 years of age and a widow, is a resident of Tipan, Oroquieta City. She was blessed with 2 healthy children. At first she experienced hardship in raising her children because of her status, being a single mother, the only one working to sustain their daily needs.

Lydia thought of a livelihood project that could sustain their financial needs, that is why she came to think of a business in “Pig Selling”. In order for her to have enough capital to buy pigs, she decided to join Paglaum Multi-Purpose Cooperative on August 19, 2008, to be exact. She already received loans last year. And now, she is applying for PHP 10,000 to buy pigs.

Eventually, all her pigs are sold for occasional reasons. She wishes to have a lot of capital to have her own piggery. For this, she knows, would bring a good way of living for her and her family.
