Carmen

Carmen is forty-three years old, married, and has one, grown, son. Carmen, her husband, and her son, all live in their house -- which, with much effort, they have built. Carmen has been in merchandise since she was very young, and in time was able to get her own stall. As time wore on, Carmen’s business grew. Fifteen years ago, she consolidated her business, just as many of the very busy stores in the area have done. Now she needs a third person to help out with her lubricant business. She is sure her business will continue to grow. She just purchased some hard-to-find replacement parts that are necessary for the repair of any kind of vehicle, so that she could supply local mechanics. Carmen could service any vehicle. She has all the necessary tools, and now all she needs is an employee and a good location in which to set up shop. Carmen started her loans with MFP seven years ago, and she thinks that the institution is an opportunity for the development of her business. With the money she requests, Carmen will purchase lots of replacement parts, which are very expensive (she will spend 3500 soles on them) to increase her income and grow closer to her goals as a businesswoman.

Carmen tiene 43 años, es casada y tiene un hijo mayor de edad, todos ellos viven en su casa, que con mucho esfuerzo lograron construir. Desde muy joven se dedicó al comercio, con el tiempo pudo obtener un puesto propio, con el paso de los años fue creciendo y hace 15 años se consolidó como una de las tiendas más concurridas de la zona, ahora requiere de la ayuda de una tercera persona para atender su negocio de lubricantes. Ella está segura de que su negocio seguirá creciendo, pues acaba de invertir en la compra de repuestos que son muy dificiles de encontrar y son muy necesarios para las reparaciones de todo tipo de vehículos, convirtiéndose así en proveedores de algunas mecánicas que ubicadas en su distrito. Carmen tiene la proyección de llegar a prestar servicios de mantenimiento a cualquier auto, pues cuenta con todos los instrumentos necesarios, sólo requiere de personal y de un local adecuado donde instalarse. Carmen inició sus préstamos en MFP hace 7 años y piensa que la instituición es una opción de desarrollo. Con el dinero que solicita comprará mayor cantidad de repuestos, los cuales son muy costosos e invertiría en ello 3500 soles, para incrementar su ganancias y tener cada vez más cerca la realización de sus metas como empresaria.
