Angelina Yobo

Angelina Yobo is fifty–six years old. A slight misunderstanding between her and her husband resulted in a break up after they had given birth to four children. Currently, Angelina is a single parent of the four children, three of whom are female. She says the first three of her children have all completed school and are gainfully employed. The last born is in the military academy. She lives in Berekum in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana.

Angelina has sponsored her children's schooling through her trading business. She trades in smoked fish. She procures the smoked fish from the northern part of the country and sells them in the market in her locality. She also sometimes treks to other markets to do business. Angelina says she used to sell minerals and other drinks but thought it prudent to switch to this current business. She hopes to amass enough profit to complete her building project.
