Haitham

Haitham has a store in the Hamra district of Beirut, in a popular shopping area. He sells household items including towels, sheets and covers.

Haitham used the loan he took to improve his store’s decor. He bought a new table to show his goods to clients. He still has some of the loan left over which he hopes to use to improve the storefront display to attract more new clients into the store.

In the future, Haitham hopes to introduce some additional items to his store, especially clothing items for women, such as lingerie and pajamas. Many of his clients are women and they often ask for these products.

Haitham feels that the demand for his goods is very reliable as the household items he sells are a basic necessity. He is also the only supplier of such goods in his area. Many of his customers are regulars.
