Razia Baji is a 36-year-old married lady and has resided in a city named Multan, Pakistan for the past 25 years. "My husband's name is M. Ramzan, an animal seller for the past 10 years. He buys animals from the famous animal market of Multan and sells them to the different butcher shops." Razia Baji has three kids: one son and two daughters. All of her kids are getting an education from the school which located near their house. Razia Baji shares the financial burden of her husband by doing embroidery on dresses. She gets orders from her neighbors and charges $3 for per embroidered dress. She successfully repaid her first loan from Asasah (a microfinance institute of Pakistan). Now she is applying again for a loan to buy more livestock (goats and sheep) to sell.

She is a group leader of some more women of her locality. Mubarak Baji and Manzooran Mai Baji and Shamim Baji each want a loan to buy buffalo for their milk selling businesses. Zafran Baji wants a loan to buy seeds and fertilizer to sell.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
