Salu Nauer

Salu is a 45-year old woman who lives by the seawith her husband and their seven children. Her husband and all the children are working together to make Salu’s business a success. The family has built small open huts called fales on the beach (in the style of traditional Samoan houses) and back-packers will rent these huts for picnics or to spend the night on the beach. In one weekend, Salu had twenty people stay at the fales. With this promising indication of demand, Salu and her family are anxious to invest further in their fales, building additional and renovating the current ones, in order to attract more tourists. She is confident in her abilities to manage a growing enterprise and enthused at the prospect of being the owner of a thriving business.
