Margarita Butrón Mamani

Margarita is a member of "Las Brisas del Rio Blanco" Communal Bank in sector four of the Sucano community located in the Pilcuyo district of the province of El Collao in the state of Puno. She is 41 years old, married with five children and has an incomplete secondary school education (equivalent of the 8th grade).

She has worked for four years with the Manuela Ramos Movement and has a business buying and selling sheep. Her first loan of 300 soles was used to purchase more sheep and she then sold the meat and animals in the markets of Pilcuyo and Ilave.

She wants to improve her business and for that she requires technical assistance. She also would like to purchase more sheep and to start selling chuño (dried potatoes used to make soup), potatoes and oca (another type of indigenous potato); in other words, buying at wholesale prices and selling in the markets of Tacna and Arequipa. This loan of 3,000 soles will help with what she has planned and the earnings from her business will be invested in the education and daily care of her children.

She promises to repay the loan on time in three monthly payments.

La señora Margarita es socia del Banco Comunal “Las Brisas del Rio Blanco”, en el sector cuatro, comunidad de Sucano, distrito de Pilcuyo, Provincia de El Collao, Departamento de Puno; tiene 41 años de edad, de estado civil es casada y tiene cinco hijos, asimismo posee estudios de primaria incompleta (segundo de primaria).
Trabaja desde hace cuatro años con el Movimiento Manuela Ramos, posee un negocio de compra y venta de ganado ovino; su primer préstamo fue de S/. 300.00 nuevos soles, para rescatar mas ganado ovino y comercializarlo en carne y en pie en las ferias ganaderas de Pilcuyo y de Ilave.
Ella piensa mejorar su crianza, por ello requiere asistencia técnica ya que piensa comprar mas ganado (mas ovejas), asimismo quiere dedicarse a comercialización de chuño, papa y oca, es decir comprar al mayor en los mercados de desaguadero y venderlos al menor en los mercados de Tacna y Arequipa, con este préstamo de S/. 3000.00 nuevos soles le servirá para lo que viene proyectando, finalmente la ganancias de su negocio lo viene invirtiendo en la educación de sus hijos y el sustento diario; se compromete a pagar puntualmente su préstamo en tres cuotas mensuales.
