Because of her eagerness to have a better life, she works hard and patiently and does manicure and pedicure services. Later on, she does other services such as hair coloring and hair cutting. She has her friends and neighbors as her regular customers and decided to open up a small beauty parlor. But she would need to have capital for these so she was looking for an institution that would be able to help her.

Taciana found Paglaum Multi-Purpose Cooperative and became a member on September 15, 2008. Her first loan of 3,000 php was used in buying materials and equipment for her business. She wants to purchase modern equipment, facilities and materials to increase her clientele and encourage them to look for her services so she has applied for a loan amounting to 7,000 php for additional capital. With her continued membership in Paglaum, she hopes to have a fully air-conditioned beauty parlor. She is willing to attend training, for acquisition of more skills.
