Anwar Mukhtar Ahmad Group

Anwar baji is a 33 year old married lady, who has lived in Pakpattan, Pakistan for the past 15 years. Pakpattan city is famous for its shrine places, which are visited by people who want to make wishes. She married a man whose name is Mukhtar ahmad, and he runs a food business in the community. He sells Punjabi food specifically, and people come to him to buy their food. He has been running this business for the past 25 years. Anwar baji is a mother of four kids: three daughters and one son. All of her children are receiving their education from a school which is located near their house. Anwar baji herself is involved in a business of sewing clothes. She sews clothes to share the financial burden of her husband, so that he can manage the household expenses easily. She is applying for a loan to buy products (lentils, cooking oil and spices) for their food selling business.

She is a group leader of some more women of her locale. Rubina baji wants a loan to buy wheels for different vehicles to sell. Naseem baji wants a loan to buy wheat to sell. Zainab baji wants a loan to buy seasonal fruits to resell.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.




About Group Loans
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a group of individuals bound by a group guarantee.
