Augustina Baah

For the past five years, Augustina has been a merchant in the local market of Bawalashie community, a suburb of Accra in Ghana. She is a forty-year-old woman, married with four kids who are schooling. She lives with her family in the same community in a rented apartment. She is a busy petty trader who sells cassava, charcoal, tinned tomatoes, yams, maize, etc. on the top of a table in the local market.

Augustina loves trading, the business through which she earns a living for her family. She does not have sufficient working capital to run the business. With the loan, she wants to inject more working capital into the business to scale up her business progress. She believes the loan will enable her to purchase good quality stock to upgrade her inventory. She would be grateful for your assistance. She is a member of the community group called ‘To God Be the Glory’ Trust Group. In this group members assist one another to provide support in handling repayment.
